Initial Interviews

Most of you know of my desire to go into full time missions. I was feeling pretty comfortable with one group in particular, but hadn't heard anything from my contact there in quite some time. So I've decided to start looking around some more. On Tuesday I contacted Wolrd Venture, which is the missions branch of the Conservative Baptist Church.

So today, I have an initial phone interview with Larry from World Venture. It's just one of those "get-to-know-you" conversations. Please pray with me that God's leading will be very clear. Specifically, if this is not the group for me to go with, the doors should be quite obviously closed. If this is one that I need to consider, I would also like that to be very clear.

Thanks for praying with me, and I'll keep you posted.

Later the same day...

The interview with Larry went very well. The conversation was easy and relaxed. I will continue talking with these folks. Please continue to pray for God's clear guidance in this decision. And be careful! I may be hitting you up for a reference at some point. :-D

Thanks again for your prayers!
